In small sizes the STC17CE models stays wider than other small cellos allowing a bigger sound volume, the thickness of the wood is worked to proportion to allow the cello to vibrate freely.
The brown/ amber varnish is oil based with an antique finish with a beautiful golden colour grounding.
All STC17CE cellos are hand made with chosen flamed maple back and sides, maple neck, spruce top, ebony fingerboard, pegs and chinrest. Those instruments are setup in the main workplace in Guangzhou with steel strings, simple bridge and finetuners tailpiece.
