Why Quartersawn and Roasted?
Quartersawn wood blanks offer enhanced stability vs. the flatsawn neck blanks most necks are manufactured from. Roasting the wood further enhances stability by reducing the moisture content down to around 7%. The result is a more-resonant neck that?s stronger and less susceptible to changing weather conditions. ?
