The Hora Reghin Student 4/4 violin with five strings and ebony fittings is a robust and expressive instrument suited for students aged 12 and above as well as adults seeking expanded range. Handcrafted in Reghin, Romania, it is made from Carpathian resonance woods—with a solid spruce top and maple back, neck, and sides—naturally dried for over five years to enhance tonal clarity and stability. The fingerboard, pegs, and tailpiece are crafted from ebony, giving the violin durability and a refined dark aesthetic.

Equipped with two fine tuners and set up with five strings tuned to E–A–D–G–C (the extra fifth string being a viola C), this instrument opens new possibilities for students studying modern repertoire and extended techniques.
