Details
Fretboard inlay dots for the early '60s Fender? look. Cream-colored Corian? duplicates the distinctive look of old clay dot position markers. They're great for restorations and for making your instrument look more authentic. Reliably consistent 1/4" (6.35mm) diameter, approximately .060" (1.5mm) thick, and ready to inlay. We recommend epoxy or super glue for installing. Sold individually.

A little history: Clay position dots were first used by Fender? in 1959, with the introduction of rosewood fingerboards on their instruments. Clay dots were discontinued in early 1965 and replaced by slightly larger 9/32" (7.14mm) pearloid dots.

We also offer matching clay side dots for the edge of the fingerboard.
